Great vibe, food and drinks here. Everything was so fresh and flavourful and my partner said he had the best bao of his life. We sat outside for the live music and Park Street Mews string lighting above. It was a great meal out for our group! FYI: They also have clean bathrooms with western toilets
I dined at Monsoon in Colombo and was thoroughly impressed! I started with four appetizers: the Vietnamese rolls, fish cutlet, and a fresh salad—all of which were so flavorful and beautifully presented. Each dish had a unique taste, and it was a fantastic start to the meal. For the main course, I had duck with coconut sauce and sea bass with rice. The duck, paired with the rich coconut sauce, was absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked. The sea bass was also delicious. I finished with Mio ice cream the taste of chocolate. Monsoon is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience great flavors and quality dining in Colombo!
The food was quite nice and good sized portions. On TripAdvisor it's listed as a restaurant with gluten free options, but it wasn't that simple and I was quite worried when they said they would alter recipes. If I hadn't had a severe food and not able to see gf on the menu, it would have been a strong 4.5
This restaurant has Asian fusion food which is delicious. Nice cocktail menu. Service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm, and the seating is comfortable. Would definitely return when in Colombo again.
